Payment and Refund Policy

Last updated: 13 October 2026

Scope of the Policy and the Products or Services It Covers

This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all payments made for courses and related services offered by stardomvo through our commercial website. These include professional training in video operation, live signal management, content distribution, camera work, and the creation of reliable high-quality feeds for news programmes and television broadcasting. The policy covers one-time course purchases, subscription-based access, and any bundled services such as live demonstrations or digital materials. It does not apply to third-party platforms or external training events not directly managed by us.

Prices, Currencies, Taxes, and Any Additional Charges

All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include value added tax (VAT) at the prevailing UK rate unless otherwise stated. Additional charges may apply for optional extras such as extended access periods, certification documents, or premium support sessions. Currency conversion fees charged by your payment provider are your responsibility and are not included in our pricing. We reserve the right to adjust prices for new enrolments, but existing confirmed bookings remain at the price agreed at the time of purchase.

Accepted Payment Methods, Payment Authorisation, and Payment Security

We accept major credit and debit cards, bank transfers, and approved digital wallets. All transactions are processed through secure third-party payment gateways that comply with PCI DSS standards. Payment authorisation occurs immediately upon submission, and funds are held until the order is confirmed. We do not store card details on our systems. In the event of a declined payment, you will be notified and given the opportunity to provide alternative details without losing your place in the queue for enrolment.

Order, Booking, or Service Confirmation and When a Contract Is Formed

A binding contract is formed when you receive an email confirmation from stardomvo following successful payment. This confirmation includes course access details, start dates, and terms. Until this point, your order is considered pending and may be cancelled by either party without penalty. Digital course materials become available only after confirmation and successful identity verification where required under UK regulations.

Cancellation Rights and Applicable Cancellation Periods

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have 14 days from the date of confirmation to cancel without providing a reason, provided the course has not commenced. For digital content, the right to cancel ends once you begin downloading or streaming the materials. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time with effect from the next billing cycle. Promotional offers or bundled services may have separate cancellation terms disclosed at purchase.

Refund Eligibility, Exclusions, and Non-Refundable Items or Services

Refunds are available for cancellations within the 14-day period where no substantial content has been accessed. Exclusions include courses already started, customised training packages, or services where live elements have been delivered. Non-refundable items also cover any certification fees or third-party licences purchased alongside the course. We do not offer refunds for changes of mind after the cooling-off period or for failure to meet personal expectations.

The Step-by-Step Procedure and Information Required to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact us via the form on our Contacts page or email [email protected]. Provide your order number, full name, the reason for the request, and any supporting evidence such as screenshots of access issues. Requests must be submitted in writing. We acknowledge receipt within two working days and may request further details if needed. Incomplete requests will delay processing.

Inspection, Approval, Rejection, and Notification of the Refund Decision

Each request is reviewed within ten working days. We assess eligibility based on access logs, payment records, and policy compliance. You will receive written notification of approval or rejection, including reasons for any refusal. Approved refunds are processed without further action on your part. Rejected requests may be appealed once with additional information.

Refund Method, Processing Time, and When Funds Should Reach the Customer

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing typically takes five to ten working days after approval, though bank transfer refunds may require up to fourteen days depending on your financial institution. You will be notified when the refund is initiated. Chargeback fees or currency conversion losses are not reimbursed.

Special Rules for Digital Content, Subscriptions, Services, or Promotional Offers

Digital courses are treated as digital content under UK law, meaning the 14-day cancellation right ends upon commencement. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Promotional offers cannot be combined with refunds on prior purchases. Live services such as real-time feed management training have no cancellation once the session has begun.

Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks, and Suspected Fraud

Failed payments must be resolved within seven days to secure enrolment. Duplicate charges are investigated and refunded automatically if confirmed. Chargebacks are treated as disputes and may result in suspension of access pending resolution. Suspected fraud leads to immediate account review and reporting to relevant authorities under UK law, with no refund issued until cleared.

Mandatory Consumer Rights in the Target Country That the Policy Cannot Exclude

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018, and PECR. You retain the right to remedies for faulty services, including repair, replacement, or price reduction. Nothing in this policy excludes liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.
